Contract Award: Conservation of State of Iowas Monuments

The Iowa Department of General Services, Purchasing Division has awarded a contract to McKay Lodge Conservation Laboratory, Inc. for the conservation of the Allison Monument, and other smaller monuments, on the state capitol grounds. The value of the contract is $38,035.00. The work of the project involves the cleaning, patination and coating of the monuments bronzes and the cleaning, patching and joint repair of the monument’s stone. The project conservator will be Robert Lodge.
